About Mike...

My childhood was typical... Summers in Rangoon, Luge lessons.
When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap sack and beaten with reeds. Pretty standard really...
Well, no. Really I did have a standard upbringing in a suburb of Victoria BC, which just happens
to be the triathlon and cycling capital of Canada.
Recently I relocated to the Great White North - the flatlands of Edmonton Alberta where I'm working on my refrigeration/hvac tech career. Yes the winters are long,
but unlike the BC Coast it's dry here and the trail system in Edmo isn't so bad with 400+ km of trails in the river valley and ravines which dissect the city. Seems to be working so far anyway.
For off-season activities i keep it on 2 wheels...

My Wheels

IROC-Z... this red gem was my daily driver and road trip car for a short while before it was retired to sunday summer driving only. It's very near to showroom
stock( except under the hood ) and runs like a top. This one's datalogged and tuned... delivers both 25 mpg highway and ET's well into the 13's. Yes I know I should dump it for something more useful,
but that rumbling exhaust note of the 5.7 is something I just can't part with.
Future Plans
As far as the racing goes...I'm going long.
The legendary Badwater 146 Ultra run is next on the list.
